Annointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of the Sick is no longer called “Extreme Unction.” This sacrament is administered to those whose illness is critical, serious or chronic (quality of life is compromised). It can be administered more than once in a lifetime if the patient’s condition has deteriorated since last receiving the sacrament, or a new serious illness has occurred.

All Catholic patients admitted to Trinity West Hospital may receive the Sacrament of the Sick through the Catholic chaplain there.

Otherwise, please call the parish to make arrangements with one of the priests.
